Speed Bump

Pelham is the oldest and smallest town in Westchester, located just north of New York City and west of New Rochelle.

Tonight the government in The Village of Pelham (one of the two villages within the town) voted not to proceed with a comprehensive plan to develop 2.19 acres downtown. Here's the story.

Instead, the Village will put up a parking lot, on its own land, where Tetrachloroethene (also known as PCE) concentrations of 910 parts per million were recorded six years ago.

Is that a Speed Bump or a Speed Hump?

Summer Sneaking

Summer just snuck into Pelham, New York.

Its been raining for almost an entire week now.

School ended just last week with the Fourth of July coming fast around the bend.

Last night we saw our first firefly.
